Guru Dragpur — the unity of the various manifestations such as Garuda, Hayagriva, Vajrapani, Vajrakilaya and others. He is also associated with Guru Dragpo, which is a manifestation of Guru Padmasambhava.
He has a red body with one face and two arms and three ferocious eyes. In his right hand Guru Dragpur holds a nine-pointed Vajra, and with the left hand he is pressing down nine-headed iron scorpion.
At the top of the thangka and in its center, in a golden tigle shown Primordial Buddha Samantabhadra, under him in the five-colored rainbow — Garab Dorje, an emanation of the Buddha Sakyamuni and the first Dzogchen teacher of our time.
The main figure of the Guru Dragpur surrounded by the guardians of the Teaching: Ekajati, Mahakala Manin, Rahula, Dorje Legpa and five sisters Tserinma. All of them are the protectors of the Dzogchen teaching.
